Renaissance Group, Inc. (RGI) was founded in 1990 by David who continues to provide comprehensive resource development services to a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations throughout the Midwest. Primary services include pre-campaign process/feasibility studies, capital campaign counsel and annual fund development. Additional RGI services include board and leadership development, development office/program audits, materials development, grant writing and gift planning consultation.
David has nearly 25 years of experience helping clients meet their objectives in campaigns ranging from $500,000 to $15 million. Past partners include hospitals and healthcare institutions, retirement communities, private education, social service agencies, arts & cultural institutions, religious organizations and community projects.

Josh Faber

Josh brings more than 10 years of fund development and non-profit marketing and communication management experience to RGI clients. Josh has served public and private school systems in Iowa and Texas as a Communication and Marketing professional and as a Director of Development for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines coordinating appeals and events generating more than $4 million annually while leading or consulting on numerous capital campaigns securing more than $50 million in support of church projects.
Josh has served a variety of not-for-profit organizations including churches, schools, health & human service agencies, community groups and professional associations. His broad areas of emphasis include strategic planning/resource development in a church setting, annual fund & event management, marketing & communication planning, grant writing, systems integration including ParishSOFT, Parish Data Systems and Raiser’s Edge, direct mail program development, pre-campaign process/feasibility studies and capital campaigns. |

| Nancy has 35 years of professional gift planning experience serving Drake University and the Catholic Diocese of Des Moines/Catholic Charities as a development professional. With a national reputation as a leading authority on planned giving, she has conducted more than 400 programs on the subject of planned giving for diverse organizations including churches, higher education institutions, healthcare organizations and social service agencies including national conventions and regional seminars. Her broad working knowledge of charitable gift plans has earned her the respect of donors and colleagues across the country.
Nancy was responsible for helping Drake University raise over $320 million in their last two capital campaigns and serves RGI clients in the areas of board education, staff training, gift planning program development and prospect research, cultivation and solicitation support.

| Emma has more than 15 years experience as an executive director, development director and program manager for non-profits and private foundations. Emma’s experience as both a grant writer and reviewer has earned her the respect of her peers in both the non-profit and corporate funding arenas. Emma leads the RGI grant writing team facilitating development of the RGI Grant Writing ToolKit, researching new grant opportunities and leading grant writing for our partners. |
